Pricing Policy
Prices quoted at point of sale are non negotiable.
Should prices of items change between the time of point of sale (i.e. when payment / deposit is taken) the price charged will remain as the price quoted at point of sale.
Payment Refund Policy
20% of the sale price of the good is required at the point of ordering, for a deposit.
All goods remain the property of Preston Furniture until all outstanding payments are settled.
Orders may be canceled within 7 days of payment of the deposit, without penalty.
Orders cancelled later than seven days of payment of the initial deposit, will not be refunded any payments.
All items must be in their original packaging if returned, and must be in a suitable condition of resale as judged by Preston Furniture.
Preston Furniture will not accept the products back if they have been used and are not in their original packaging.
The Customer may return an item within 7 days of delivery but will receive a 30% restocking charge of the full payment made.
Payment terms during Sales and Promotions
Payment in full must be made prior to delivery.
Any order which payment is not settled in full within 2 months of the initial deposit will be canceled and no refund will be provided to the customer.
Delivery Policy
Free Delivery on all orders over €500 subject to the following size and weight restrictions;
Weight Limit = 30kg
Size Limit = 2.1 meters

The customer agrees that there is a minimum delivery time of 4-5 weeks from the time of deposit payment. Any unforeseen events including to but not limited to an act of god, trade union problems etc which delay the delivery of the goods, will be notified.
Preston Furniture delivery staff are not insured to move customer’s own furniture.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that;
(a) Goods ordered will fit through doors and other access ways of the delivery address.
(b) Goods ordered will fit into the destination room.
(c) Destination room or rooms must be ready to accept delivery. It is not the responsibility of our drivers to move or remove customer’s own furniture within or from properties unless this is specified on the invoice.
If a customer requires this service then charges will apply and will vary on a case by case basis.

(d) Delivery personnel and goods ordered have a clear passageway to the intended destination.
(e) We will have adequate access to your home so that a large delivery truck can drop off your delivery.
(f) Delivery is generally carried out by 1 experienced delivery driver. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they are available for delivery times specified.

All goods must be inspected by the customer and signed for at the time of delivery as claims for damages will not be accepted later.
It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that someone is available to take delivery, inspect and sign for the goods.
Assembly
Some items are supplied flat pack and will require assembly.
Should you require assembly of your item(s), please call us and we will be happy to assist you.
Assembly charges will vary.
Assembly charges are non-refundable.
Faults / Warranties
Preston Furniture operates a strict 12 month warranty on normal use of the product. Normal use is defined as no deliberate damage or negligence under the customers’ ownership on the item(s) is made. This is return policy is only valid for design/manufacture faults with the product(s). Complaints made outside the 12 month period are NOT covered by warranty. The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
The warranty of the contract is valid only to the signatory of the contract and no third party will be refunded due to faults and damage to the item(s).
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. These terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
